Although a valiant attempt was made for The Millennium Dome Museum to be located in what was once the Millennium Dome itself, unfortunately the O2 Arena’s governing body were not keen on helping our dream come to fruition. Instead, it is currently located at 53-57 High Street, KT1 1NB, Kingston-Upon-Thames, England.
Q. What’s the museum’s policy on food?
A. The TMDM museum restricts food and drink from being consumed within any of its exhibitions. This is both for health and safety reasons and to preserve the quality of our displays. Food may be consumed within one of our many provided common areas, or in the museum cafe.
Q. Does the museum contain a cloakroom?
A.Yes, The Millennium Dome Museum’s cloakroom is located on the ground floor, directly to the left of the reception desk. Please use discretion when deciding what goods need to be placed in the cloakroom, as not all rooms in our galleries are monitored in-person during opening hours.
Q. Is The Millennium Dome Museum appropriate for children?
A. Yes, The Millennium Dome Museum is appropriate for children. Childrens’ areas are provided, and we encourage younger members, aged 6-14 to get involved with museum life by signing up to our free TMDM Youth Membership Club.
Q. How much does entry cost?
A. Thanks to our generous patrons, entry to the museum is free; however, we encourage a small donation, whether that’s of money, time or some old memoribilia you might have lying around.
